How to Configure Mobile Targeting

Ctiny's Mobile Targeting is a powerful feature that allows you to redirect users to different destinations based on their device type—all with a single short URL. There's no need to create multiple links for different devices. Currently, Ctiny supports redirection for Android and Apple devices.
Follow these steps to configure Mobile Targeting:
Step 1: Access Link Configuration
- Navigate to your Ctiny dashboard and locate the link you wish to configure.
- Click on the Edit button to open the detailed configuration page for the link.
Step 2: Configure Mobile Targeting
- Expand the Mobile Targeting section by clicking on the relevant modal.
2. Enter the desired destination URLs for each device type:
- Apple devices: Enter the URL for Apple users (e.g., https://www.apple.com/app-store/).
- Android devices: Enter the URL for Android users (e.g., https://play.google.com/store).
3. Click Update to save your changes.
What Happens Next?
- Apple and Android users will be automatically redirected to the specified URLs based on their devices.
- Desktop users or users accessing the link from unsupported devices will be redirected to the original URL.
This feature simplifies device-specific redirection while keeping the process efficient and seamless.
